Readers Asked To Help Food Drive
Spokesman-Review readers are being asked to help out with a newspaper food drive next week.
Most residential subscribers will receive special food drive bags with this Sunday’s paper. Readers are asked to place non-perishable food donations in the bag and leave it by their mailboxes before 7 a.m. on Sunday, March 22.
Newspaper carriers or volunteers will pick up the bags that morning.
Anyone who doesn’t receive a food bag can drop off donations from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 22 at various locations.
Spokane drop-off sites include The SpokesmanReview downtown depot, W. 1101 First Avenue; the S-R Valley office, 13208 E. Sprague; the Albertsons grocery store at 44th and Regal, and at Shadle Center on West Wellesley.
Donations in North Idaho can be dropped off at the Post Falls Tidyman’s, 608 Northwest Blvd., or at the grocery store in Hayden Lake.
