Seattle Paper’s Staff Ignores Ferris

The Seattle Times staff predicts championship game scores before the tournament.

The quartet did a good job on the boys side, with Mount Vernon getting two votes to beat Prairie and Prairie and Mercer Island one each to get by Mount Vernon. Only Ferris of the final four didn’t get mentioned.

On the girls side, Mountain View was picked by one to lose in the finals. Other picks - Tumwater, Eastlake, Kamiakin and Enumclaw - were gone by the semifinals. Central Valley, Foss and Federal Way received no support.

The Times’ All-State teams included CV’s Crystal Lee and Richland’s Scott Salisbury.
