Gayle Muchmore-Murphy Chosen Employee Of Month

Gayle Muchmore-Murphy, a clinical supervisor at the Kootenai Transitional Care Center at Kootenai Medical Center, has been chosen as the KMC Employee of the Month for March.

Muchmore-Murphy, who has worked at KMC for more than five years, was cited for providing quality care to patients, hard work, accommodating the needs of all and going the extra mile.

Doreen Mucciaccio has been named the Best Western Templin’s Resort’s Employee of the Month for February.

Mucciaccio, who has been with the resort since August 1994 as a housekeeper, was recently promoted to housekeeper trainer due to her abilities to exceed cleanliness expectations.

Florence Anderson, Potlatch resident and member of the Gold Hill Diggers Rock and Gem Club, was recently awarded the Hall of Fame Certificate from the American Federation of Mineralogical Society (AFMS).

Anderson, author and recipient of other AFMS awards, was recognized for meeting certain criteria in a news letter, including enthusiastic and dedicated editor and information above average which gave insight into the club.

Dave Strong, General Manager of Latah County Grain Growers Cooperative in Moscow, was recently inducted into the Co-op Council Hall of Fame for years of making significant contributions to the success and well-being of cooperatives.

Strong, a Potlatch, Idaho, native and graduate of Troy High School, graduated from Kinman Business University in Spokane and joined the grain growers in 1967. He became general manager in 1983 and currently serves on the University of Idaho College of Agriculture Consulting Council, Executive Institute for Northwest Cooperatives and the Port of Lewiston. He is active with the Idaho Cooperative Council.
