Not For The Cyber-Challenged

Associated Press

There’s so much competition in the lodging industry these days that hotels are trying to come up with new twists and gimmicks to try to make themselves stand out.

So, reports Home Office Computing magazine, the Westin Century Plaza in Los Angeles presents the Cyber Suite.

For just $2,000 a night, guests will find, among other amenities, TV sets with high-speed Internet access, videoconferencing, a multi-media computer with wireless mouse, a CD player and a videodisc player and cellular phone service.

It appears that room service is extra.
