Ad Federation Honors Joyce Cameron
Joyce M. Cameron, director of development and public relations for the Inland Northwest Chapter of the American Red Cross, Saturday was named local “advertising professional of the year.”
Cameron was honored during “ADDY Night,” the Spokane Advertising Federation’s 40th annual awards presentation at the Ag Trade Center. The award cited Cameron’s work for the Red Cross during Ice Storm, noting she worked with the news media and others days and nights for 19 consecutive days.
WhiteRunkle Associates received the Best of Show “MAX” award for its “Cowboy” television ad for The Spokane Symphony. The agency, the area’s largest, won 32 of the 138 awards presented.

These division winners will be forwarded to regional competition in Portland.
