The 1970s saw great changes in women’s lives as they ventured forth from traditional roles. These changes were reflected in the newspapers of the 1970s. Is it time for the modern newspaper to better reflect how women are integrating their many roles and choices? And time to reflect some of the joy in women’s lives? That’s what members of The Spokesman-Review women’s committee are exploring. Even the comics are under the microscope.
