The NCAA Final Four hockey tournament begins tonight at Milwaukee. In its fifth consecutive semifinal appearance, Boston University (25-8-6) faces Michigan (35-3-4). In the other semifinal, Colorado College (25-14-4) meets North Dakota (29-10-2).

The winners meet for the title Saturday afternoon.

The Olympic champion U.S. women’s soccer team will play Australia, Italy and Canada in the U.S. Women’s Cup ‘97 tournament. In its first international competition since winning the Olympic gold medal, the American team will play host to the event May 31-June 8.

The Americans will play Canada on May 31 at New Britain, Conn.
