Three Arrested After Marijuana Found In House

Kootenai County sheriff’s deputies arrested three men Monday after an officer discovered a large illegal drug operation inside a Post Falls house.

Officers found several hundred juvenile marijuana plants growing in the home on 16th Avenue just east of Highway 41 along with processed marijuana, according to a report from the sheriff’s department.

“The whole house has been converted into an indoor grow operation,” said Sgt. Brad Maskell.

Deputies arrested Neal B. Louzader, 40, Post Falls; Robert C. Fleak, 43, Sandpoint; and Tod M. Revenaugh, 33, Snohomish, Wash.

Earlier in the day, a deputy had been sent to a business just west of the home to investigate suspicious bullet holes in a building, Maskell said. While at the business, the deputy determined that the shots appeared to have been fired from the direction of the home on 16th Avenue.

As the deputy walked up to the house, he found the door wide open and saw the men just inside, stuffing bags full of marijuana, Maskell said. The deputy also could smell the strong odor of the drug.

The men were immediately arrested and booked into the Kootenai County Jail.
