Mayors Will Speak To River Residents
The mayors of Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene will be featured speakers at the annual general membership meeting of the Spokane River Property Owners Association.
About 500 Spokane River residents have been invited to the meeting May 13 at Templin’s Resort Hotel.
Post Falls Mayor Gus Johnson and Coeur d’Alene Mayor Al Hassell will discuss their cities’ visions for the river, its future and what roles the cities will play.
Also on the program are Kootenai County Sheriff’s Sgt. Dan Soumas of the marine division, who will discuss recent legislation that affects boating. K.C. Hansen of Crown Pacific and Ed Haglund of Foss Maritime will talk about the River Cleanup Campaign. , DataTimes
