Two Men Sought In Bank Robbery

A Spokane bank was robbed Friday by two men riding bicycles.

The two entered the Sterling Savings Bank, 103 E. Queen, about 3 p.m. and approached separate teller windows.

One took money, then both left riding north on Mayfair. No weapon was displayed.

Police later found their bikes abandoned behind a nearby business.

The bicycles - one red, the other yellow - will be processed by the FBI for fingerprints, police said.

Both men were white and between the ages of 20 and 30. One was described as 6 feet tall, 165 pounds with straight, collar-length brown hair. He was wearing sunglasses.

The other was about 5 feet 11 inches tall and 160 pounds, witnesses said. , DataTimes
