Leaking Water Tank To Be Repaired Again

The Indian Trail neighborhood’s long-leaking Strong Road water tank will be out of service for about three weeks starting Tuesday while city workers try again to locate and patch holes in the liner.

With the 4.6 million-gallon concrete tank out of service, residents are bound to notice reduced pressure when they turn on their taps, said John Bjork, city water director.

The water department has emptied and scoured the tank for leaks at least a half-dozen times since it was built in 1995. , DataTimes
