Spokane Tribe Plans Weekend Powwow

The Spokane Indians will sponsor a powwow Friday, Saturday and Sunday at Two Rivers Casino, 20 miles north of Davenport, Wash.

About $20,000 in cash and prizes will be given away to powwow contestants. The event also will celebrate the Spokane Tribe’s gaming efforts in the past three years.

An auction featuring Indian art will be held at the casino Saturday at noon.
