Lightning Strike Starts House Fire
A lightning strike set a house on fire Friday night and damaged another as a strong thunderstorm moved across the Puget Sound region.
The fire at the home was still burning late Friday, and 100 firefighters were on the scene at the house east of Auburn, near Washington 164.
At Todd Manley’s house nearby, the chimney was blown apart by a lightning strike.
“It looks like someone put some dynamite in my house and blew it up,” Manley told KING-TV in Seattle.
