Independence Lead Mines Co. in Wallace replaced most of its board of directors Thursday, with three of four members resigning.
Attorney H. James Magnuson, and retired businessmen Wray Featherstone and R.M. MacPhee resigned, a company statement said. Former president Dale Lavigne, an Osburn, Idaho, business owner, remained on the board.
Four new members appointed to the board include: newly elected president Bernard Lannen of Cataldo, Idaho; Forrest Godde, of Lancaster, Calif., and Hayden Lake; Gordon Berkhaug, a Spokane real estate broker; Robert Bunde of McVille, N.D.; and Wayne Schoonmaker, a Wallace certified public accountant.
