Galaxy Crush Foes

Compiled From Wire Services

Bobby Phillips ran for two touchdowns and Steve Pelluer threw two TD passes, leading the Frankfurt Galaxy to a 31-7 World League football victory over the London Monarchs.

Phillips, allocated from the Pittsburgh Steelers, dove over from the 1-yard line on both touchdowns as the Galaxy snapped a three-game losing streak.

Pelluer, who led the team to last year’s World Bowl, had his two TD passes after he replaced Chad May in the second quarter.
