Bobick Critically Hurt

Compiled From Wire Services

Former Olympic boxer Duane Bobick remained in critical condition after he was hurt in an accident at the paper mill where he works.

Bobick was working Tuesday slitting apart rolls on the paper machine winder at Hennepin Paper Co. when the knife he was using got caught and his arms were pulled into the machinery, according to a statement from Elmer Beale, the company’s general manager.

Bobick suffered multiple breaks in both arms and some damage to the skin, muscle and blood vessels, Beale said.
