The Spokesman-Review wants to find the most creative people in the Inland Northwest and we just know there have to be at least a few teens in that company. But we need your help finding them.
We know teens can be pretty darn creative. After all, their minds have yet to be sucked into the Dilbert-esque world so many adults face day after day.
Creativity is hard to define, but here are some thoughts: Creativity is the application of imagination. So, creative people not only have imaginative thoughts and ideas, they also apply them in ways that others notice. Something creative is novel, original and shows insight.
We want to be creative about where we find these creative people. We know they’re out there. In your schools, at club meetings. Maybe even the student who works at a concession stand.
It’s easy to nominate someone. Send us names, how we can reach these creative people, and why you think they are creative. Please include the person’s age.
Be as specific as possible. You can Write: Creative 98, The Spokesman-Review Newsroom, P.O. Box 2160, Spokane, WA, 99210-1615.
