FROM FOR THE RECORD (Thursday, November 6, 1997): Correction A man was robbed at gunpoint at the Washington Trust Bank’s Manito branch automated teller machine at 611 E. 31st on Tuesday. A story in Wednesday’s newspaper listed the wrong bank where the robbery occurred.

A man was robbed at gunpoint while getting money from a South Hill automated teller machine Tuesday night, police said.

The unidentified man was at the Washington Mutual Bank ATM at 31st and Grand Avenue about 8:25 p.m. when a man walked up, pointed a gun at him and demanded money, police said. No one was injured.

The gunman, who was described as wearing a dark coat and pants, remained at large late Tuesday. , DataTimes
