Rogel Is Named Weyerhaeuser Chief

Federal Way Steven R. Rogel, president and chief executive officer of Willamette Industries, will take over those posts at Weyerhaeuser Co. when John W. Creighton Jr. retires in December, Weyerhaeuser said Monday.

Rogel, 55, has worked as a manager at Portland, Ore.-based Willamette Industries for more than 25 years. He was named president and chief operating officer in 1991 and CEO in 1995.
