Last week’s question

What are you thankful for?

“I’m thankful for my family and friends because they mean a lot to me and they support me a lot.” - Paul Spangler, Ferris senior

“Life.” - Kim Glore, Lakeside sophomore

“I’m thankful for all the people in my life that have made milestones and challenges and they’ve made me grow to be a smart person. And for all my brothers who have made conflicts for me - they made me think about what was right and most of the time they won the conflicts.” Rebecca Koehler, Assumption School 6th grader

We also asked the Our Generation Teen Council members what they are thankful for. Here’s what they said:

Families, friends, carbonated soda, living in America, religious freedom, art school, decent school system, cable TV, pets, having a home, inventions such as electricity, money, health, freedom to travel, Taco Bell, nature, PBS, having music as an outlet, people to look up to, freedom of speech, the Internet, ability to go to college free (Running Start Program), teachers, sleep, calzones at Bennidito’s, weekends and the feeling of security/safety.
