Services On Holiday Schedule

The Thanksgiving weekend is affecting many services:

Schools: Public schools closed today and Friday.

Banks: Closed today; most open Friday.

Mail: Branches closed, and only express mail delivered today. Regular delivery and branch hours on Friday.

Government offices: Federal, state, county and city offices closed today and Friday.

Parking meters: Must be fed on Friday, but not today.

Buses: Spokane Transit Authority service on holiday schedule today and regular weekday schedule Friday.

Garbage: Pickups normally made Thursday will be made Friday; regular Friday pick-ups will be made Saturday.
