House That Dylan Built
The Big Pink, the three-bedroom Catskills hideaway where Bob Dylan, seen above in a 1996 concert, and the Band wrote dozens of songs in the late ‘60s, was on the market for several years. A buyer finally turned up after a story on the unsold property ran in the Los Angeles Times. Plans are to turn the house into a shrine to the rock icons who recorded there, with a recording studio in the basement.
