Lenders Interactive Opens Local Office

Lenders Interactive Online Network has decided to expand its operations to Spokane.

The Mercer Island-based firm plans to open an office here in October, and will employ up to 25 people by the end of 1998.

The Internet service provider offers mortgage brokers Internet access to lenders’ rates and fees.

“Our service is extremely consumer friendly and it allows our customers to quickly determine the best financing programs for their clients,” J.J. Johnson, the company’s broker sales manager, said in a news release. “As we continue to expand our database into new states, we need to expand our marketing efforts accordingly. Spokane has the available qualified labor force we need to accelerate our rapid growth.”
