Health Care Workshop Scheduled For Tuesday

Germs of Concern in North Idaho, a free conference for medical professionals, is scheduled Tuesday.

The workshop will feature speakers on sexually transmitted diseases, bacterial resistance, hepatitis, naturopathic treatment of HIV/AIDS and other topics.

The conference is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Kootenai Medical Center’s Health Resource Center.

The sessions also will be broadcast over interactive video to Benewah Community Hospital in St. Maries, Bonner General Hospital in Sandpoint and Boundary Community Hospital in Bonners Ferry.
