Garbage Pickup On Regular Schedule

Garbage pickup in the Spokane area is on a regular schedule this week.

A Columbus Day information box in the Sunday and Monday editions of The Spokesman-Review incorrectly said pickup would be one day late this week.

City residents who missed their Monday pickup have two options: They can request a special pickup this week at no extra charge or they can set out an extra can next week without an added charge.

Spokane Valley residents who missed a scheduled garbage pickup should call 924-9400.

Residents living elsewhere in the county who missed Monday pickups and are served by Waste Management should call 466-3400; Western Refuse Co., 244-6000; Newman Lake Garbage Service, 924-4312; or Empire Disposal, 397-3200.
