‘Routine’ Spokane Traffic Stop Nets Fugitive From Florida

A man wanted for attempted murder in Dixie County, Fla., was arrested in Spokane early Monday during a routine traffic stop.

A car driven by Jesse K. Davis, 30, was pulled over for a traffic infraction at the corner of Haven and Hartson just after midnight, police said.

After running a records check on Davis, officers discovered he is wanted in the shooting of a Florida man. No other information on that crime was available, police said.

Davis was booked into Spokane County Jail on a warrant for first-degree attempted murder and is awaiting extradition by Florida authorities. , DataTimes
