School Board Studies March Bond Proposal
The Post Falls School Board will meet Monday to discuss what sort of school bond proposal will be presented to voters in March.
The board approved a school bond election date for March 24 at its last meeting.
The last two bond attempts generated almost 63 percent approval, but that was short of the 66.6 percent majority required in the state of Idaho.
Even with voter approval of the bond in March, school construction would not be complete until the summer of the year 2000.
Under this scenario, the earliest the district could discontinue its double-shifting program at the middle school would be September of the year 2000.
