Man Lied To Get Disability Benefits

A federal jury convicted a 56-year-old Rathdrum man of lying to collect disability benefits, the U.S. Attorney’s office said Friday.

Darwin O. Giese failed to report money he made plowing snow for several Wallace businesses to the U.S. Department of Labor when he applied for disability benefits, the U.S. Attorney’s office said.
