Reward Offered In Killing Of Woman

Secret Witness is offering a $2,000 reward for information that helps Spokane police solve the recent homicide of a young woman.

The body of Teresa-Lyn Asmussen was discovered in the Spokane River near the Post Street dam Oct. 17. An autopsy determined someone had bashed in her head before dumping her in the river.

Detectives want to talk to anyone who has information about people Asmussen associated with during the two weeks prior to the discovery of her body. The 22-year-old mother of one reportedly was a drug addict and had worked as a prostitute.

Anyone with information on the case should call 327-5111. Callers do not have to give their names to be eligible for the reward.
