The the slot limit will be gone and the bag limit for lake trout at Priest Lake will be reduced from three to two when new Idaho fishing regulations take effect Jan. 1.

Rules adopted by the state Fish and Game Commission end year-round catch-and-keep fishing for mackinaw at Priest. The harvest season will run from the last Saturday in April through Nov. 30. The exception is that macks can be taken through a hole cut in the ice.

Robinson Lake near Bonners Ferry will have a two bass, 16-inch minimum size limit to allow bass to reach trophy size. Bonner Lake will have a two trout limit with a 14-inch minimum size. No bait will be allowed on Bonner Lake, where the season will go from the last Saturday in April through Nov. 30.
