Teen Held In Lake Stevens Death
A teenager wanted in the death of a Lake Stevens man whose body was found in a gravel pit was arrested early Saturday, a Snohomish County sheriff’s spokeswoman said.
Joshua M. Inman, 18, was arrested at a residence in the Chainlake area of eastern Snohomish County, Jan Jorgensen said. The arrest was made at 8 a.m. without incident, she said. He was being booked into Snohomish County Jail in Everett for investigation of first-degree murder.
Jorgensen said authorities were informed of Inman’s whereabouts by a person who had heard the story in the news.
An autopsy was also being conducted on the victim, Jorgensen said. Evidence at the scene indicated the man died of homicidal violence, she said, but his identity and information about how he was killed were not made public.
