N. Idaho Health Care Sets Open House Wednesday

(From For the Record, October 29, 1997:) Lake City Health Care will hold its open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at 1111 Ironwood Drive in Coeur d’Alene. The name of the nonprofit clinic was reported incorrectly in Tuesday’s paper.

North Idaho Health Care, the Panhandle’s free clinic, invites the public to an open house, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Wednesday at 1111 Ironwood Dr. in Coeur d’Alene.

The clinic borrowed space from the Panhandle Health District until this year. Help from Kootenai Medical Center enabled the non-profit clinic to move this fall to its own space in Coeur d’Alene’s medical community.

The clinic opens Tuesday and Thursday evenings and offers basic medical treatment to North Idaho’s uninsured and underinsured people. It’s staffed by volunteers, including doctors. , DataTimes
