The Byron Nelson Classic will increase its purse by $700,000 to $2.5 million for next year’s tournament, which will be played at the TPC at Las Colinas in Irving, Texas, May 14-17.

For the first time since the 1920s, no commercial logos will appear on uniforms worn by U.S. athletes when they ascend the medal podium at February’s Winter Games in Nagano, Japan.

Only the U.S. Olympic Committee’s logo - the letters USA over the five interlocked Olympic rings - will appear.
