Education: Bachelor’s degree in physical education from San Diego State University.

Favorite book: “Moby Dick” by Herman Melville.

Greatest accomplishment: Winning the triple crown as a senior in high school.

Biggest regret: “I don’t have too many regrets.”

Person he most admires: His father because he taught him how to respect people.
