Msb-Blue Shield Adopts Another Name

Health insurance company MSB-Blue Shield of Idaho has changed its name to Regence BlueShield of Idaho.

The move will tie the company with other Regence BlueShield and BlueCross companies in the Northwest. The Regence group is an affiliation of four Pacific Northwest BlueShield or BlueCross health plans in Washington, Oregon, Utah and Idaho.

The four health-care plans of Regence have the same missions and long-term goals, officials said.

Regence BlueShield of Idaho is headquartered in Lewiston and has offices in Coeur d’Alene, Pocatello, Idaho Falls, Twin Falls and Boise.
