Hecla Halts Work At Mexican Property
Hecla Mining Co. of Coeur d’Alene said it will terminate its interest with the Canadian company Aquiline Resources Inc. in its La Jojoba gold property in Mexico.
Aquiline owns the property, and Hecla would have earned a 60 percent interest in the project.
Hecla drilled and reviewed metallurgical data and decided against completing the project because it did not meet requirements for more work, Hecla said.
Hecla has spent nine months evaluating the property. , DataTimes
