Man’s Leg, Pride Hurt After Bathroom Gunshot

Police say a south Tacoma man was in pain and embarrassed after he accidentally shot himself at his home early Friday.

The 49-year-old was wearing the gun in a holster when he went to use the bathroom.

The gun accidentally fired when the holster hit the floor, and he was shot in the upper left leg.

He was treated at a hospital. Police advised him to put the gun in a safe place before using the bathroom.
