Police Suspect Murder After Finding Body In Car

A Spokane man was found dead in his car late Sunday, and police suspect foul play.

Michael C. Flees, 29, was discovered slumped over the steering wheel of the car at Pittsburg and Olympic about 11:10 p.m. Sunday.

The car was running when emergency personnel arrived, police said.

Flees, who lived in the 1200 block of East Crown, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are awaiting autopsy results to determine the cause of death. The case is being investigated as a homicide.
