Suspect Sought In Seafirst Heist

From Staff And Wire Reports

A man robbed the Seafirst bank in downtown Spokane on Tuesday morning.

The FBI is searching for the robber, described as a black male, approximately 28 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall, 160 pounds. He was wearing a white shirt and black baseball cap.

No weapon was shown and no one was hurt during the 10 a.m. holdup. The robber fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

“There was nothing unusual or dynamic about the robbery,” FBI agent Mike Byrne said.

Byrne said bank robberies are becoming more common in Spokane. Many, he said, are tied to drug use - addicts turn into robbers to pay for their habit. , DataTimes
