Lake Cda Drawdown To Begin Sept. 15
Washington Water Power will begin the annual drawdown of Lake Coeur d’Alene beginning Sept. 15.
The company expects to draw the lake down from its normal summer elevation of 2,128 feet to 2,122 feet by the end of December at a rate of 1.5 feet per month, according to Steve Silkworth, WWP hydro operations engineer.
