Sex Offender Back In Spokane

A convicted rapist has returned to Spokane.

Warren Troy Plowden, who was convicted in Spokane of raping a 17-year-old girl in 1991, was recently released from prison.

Police said he now lives downtown and is a Level III sex offender - considered the most dangerous and likely to reoffend.

Police do not give out specific addresses of such offenders.

In addition to rape, Plowden has been convicted of two assaults and possession of stolen property. As a condition of his release, he is not allowed to drink alcohol or go to places where it is served.

Plowden is 30 years old, black, 5 feet 7 inches tall, and 152 pounds. He has a 2-inch scar on his right forearm.
