Spokane Man Held In Stabbing

A 38-year-old Spokane man was arrested for allegedly stabbing another man Thursday, police said.

Dan Shores was booked into the Spokane County Jail on suspicion of second-degree assault.

He was standing in the front yard of a residence in the 2200 block of West Sharp when officers arrived about 1:15 a.m.

The victim, bleeding on the front porch, was taken to an area hospital, where he was listed in serious condition late Thursday.

Police said they suspect the stabbing is connected to Shores’ former girlfriend, who lives at the West Sharp residence. Shores lives on West Second.
