Glickman To Address Satellite Food Summit

People concerned about feeding the hungry will meet at 8:30 a.m. Monday, in North Idaho College’s Todd Lecture Hall for a nationwide summit by satellite.

The National Food Recovery Summit will feature Agriculture Secretary Dan Glickman and the leaders of Foodchain, Second Harvest, Congressional Hunger Center and The Chef and the Child Foundation.

The summit’s goal is to expand food recovery nationally to help the hungry. The public is invited. For information, call 772-0584.
