Peter Jacobsen shot a 65 Friday to move to 9 under par and into a tie with Bill Glasson for the second-round lead of the CVS Charity Classic in Sutton, Mass.

Glasson shot a second-round 67 on the par-71, 7,110-yard Pleasant Valley Country Club course to join Jacobsen in the chase for the $216,000 winner’s share of the $1.2 million purse.

First-round co-leader Charlie Rymer shot 70 to move to minus-8, tied for second.

Greg Norman shot a scrambling 66 and moved within a shot of leader Tony Johnstone after two rounds of the $1.1 million Lancome Trophy in Saint-nom-la-breteche, France. … Karrie Webb increased her lead with her second consecutive 5-under-par 67 at the $550,000 Safeco Classic in Kent, Wash. Clarkston’s Robin Walton missed the cut, shooting a 74-149… . Rocky Thompson shot a 6-under-par 66 to take a one-stroke lead over Mike McCullough and David Graham after the first round of the $1.3 million Boone Valley Seniors Classic in Augusta, Mo.
