The monthly meeting to discuss district business starts at 3:30 p.m.

Spokane Sports, Entertainment, Arts and Convention Advisory Board

Spokane County Hearing Examiner

Among other business, Hearing Examiner Mike Dempsey will consider a request to allow heavy industry on two acres near the intersection of Locust and Montgomery in the Valley. The land, owned by Fred LeFriec, is zoned for light industrial uses.

The board will discuss the 1998 budget and the summer reading program.

The Spokane Regional Transportation Council plans to make a report to the council.
