Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Theft

Spokane police arrested a South Hill man on suspicion of theft Tuesday morning after they spotted someone attempting to break into a car.

Spokane police spokesman Dick Cottam said officers responded to a call in the 3100 block of East 29th Avenue just after midnight and arrested David K. McDaniel, 30.

Cottam said police found various items along McDaniel’s path that appeared to have been stolen from at least three vehicles in the area.

Police also found several credit cards as well as a car stereo and portable CD player, Cottam said.

McDaniel was booked into the Spokane County Jail on suspicion of theft and malicious mischief.
