Minera To Explore Argentinia Property
Spokane-based Minera Andes said it will begin exploration work at two Argentinian properties and participate in a joint-venture survey project.
The company is organizing field crews for exploration at two gold mines, the Cerro Saavedra and El Pluma in the Santa Cruz province of Argentina. It will also begin exploring properties in west central Argentina.
The company also said it will participate in an airborne geophysical survey of 60,000 square kilometers of northwest Argentina. The survey is funded by the Canadian government and the mining industry.
Minera Andes controls 35 projects on about 700,000 acres in Argentina. Most properties are gold, silver and copper explorations.
