Officer Election, Bylaws Topic Of Meeting

A meeting to adopt bylaws and elect officers for the North Indian Trail Neighborhood Council is scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Woodridge Elementary School, 5100 W. Shawnee.

There will also be an opportunity to discuss issues including roads, development, schools, crime and traffic.

The boundaries for the council are from the bluff of Five Mile Prairie to the bluff overlooking Nine Mile, and from the north end of the landfill to the Little Spokane River. Both city and county residents are invited.

Indian Trail will be the eighth neighborhood council to organize in the city.

Neighborhood councils are designed to give residents a stronger voice in issues impacting their communities when they come before city council.
