Panels To Discuss Float House Rents
Three members of the Idaho State Land Board and Department of Lands staff will hold a meeting Sunday to discuss rental rates for float homes on North Idaho lakes.
Owners of float homes now pay the state $250 a year for a state submerged lands lease, but the state has proposed raising the fees by about four times that much.
State Controller J.D. Williams, schools Superintendent Anne Fox and Attorney General Alan Lance are scheduled to attend the meeting, along with Stan Hamilton, land board director.
The meeting is scheduled for 2 p.m. in the Bayview Community Center. No voting or final decisions will be made during the meeting. , DataTimes
