Teenagers Rob Man Of Wallet, Groceries

From Staff And Wire Reports

Two teenagers, one armed with a pistol, robbed a Spokane man of his groceries Tuesday, police said.

The 26-year-old victim told officers he was walking near Belt and Boone with an armful of groceries about 7 p.m. when two boys approached him from behind and asked for a match.

When the man turned around, one of the teenagers pulled out a gun and demanded the victim’s wallet and groceries, police said. The boys grabbed the stuff and ran away.

The man said the robbers were both white, about 5 feet 6 inches tall, with medium builds. , DataTimes
